Disney is shutting down the desktop version of Club Penguin today. Of course, this was bound to happen eventually, as the game is nowhere near as popular and successful as it once was, but now that it’s actually happening, it really does make me quite sad. I know this is a cliche thing to say, but Club Penguin is more than just a game to me. I’ve been involved with it in some capacity for over a decade now. I literally grew from a kid to an adult, and while many things in my life changed over that time, Club Penguin was always there.
One night in December of 2006, my best friend, Bluemoss2, called me on my family’s landline phone and told me about Club Penguin. Over the phone, I signed up and created Lorenzo Bean, and he showed me around, helping me find the Campfire Pin at the Ski Lodge. We also attempted to find Rockhopper, since he was on the island at the time. From then on, we would often log on and talk over the phone while playing Cart Surfer, Ice Fishing, and Sled Racing against each other. Back then, the chat filters were much less strict, so it was very easy to communicate and make several friends. The social aspect was really what kept me playing. I was, and still am a very reserved person in real life, so Club Penguin was an easy way for me to connect and bond with others. To this day I believe that relationships you build online are just as important and valuable as the ones you develop in person.
LBX Club Penguin Cheats is the longest running Club Penguin news site ever at over 9 years old, and even though it only has 300,000 views, it’s one of my proudest results of playing Club Penguin. It wouldn’t have been possible without the help of Bluemoss2, Mchappy, Zuke, and Kyle103, so thank you to those guys for helping keep the site updated when I couldn’t.
I’ve also probably spent a few thousand hours on Club Penguin armies, most notably the Ice Warriors, Army of Club Penguin, and Golds. I’m not even sure what to say about this anymore, I mean I was involved with armies for almost their entire existence, and witnessed most of the major developments there. I made countless friends and just had an incredible time, especially earlier on, because of Club Penguin armies.
Anyways, I don’t want this post to drag on too long, so I will end it here. Club Penguin is something that I grew up alongside, and represents the times in my life where I didn’t have to worry about anything except having fun and being with friends, and that’s why it’s sad that I will never be able to log on to the real game again for the sake of nostalgia.
If anyone is interested, there is a very well-made new private server for Club Penguin called Club Penguin Rewritten, which is basically a restored version of Club Penguin as it was in 2009. It has a pretty dedicated team who will keep it updated; they’re even going to be putting the old parties into the game.
Here’s a farewell video I made with Bluemoss2:
Thank you all for supporting this site over the years. I will never delete this site for the sake of history and the memories.
Goodbye, my friends
Hey everyone, Lorenzo Bean here. Club Penguin’s 11th Anniversary Party has started in the Coffee Shop! Upon logging in, you can collect the 11th Anniversary Party Hat and Background.
The Coffee Shop is decorated as usual, and you can also pick up the hat here.
The new 2015-2016 yearbook is also on the table to look at.
That’s all for this party. Pretty cool that this game has been online for 11 years now!
Hello, all, it has been several months since I’ve even thought about posting on this site. Zuke and I are proud to announce that we will be returning to work on LBX Club Penguin. I realize there aren’t so many Club Penguin updates any more, but we will do our absolute best to bring our viewers great content. Club Penguin cheats/news sites are pretty much entirely dead now, but this one will continue on as long as possible. Stay tuned for more posts!
Hey everyone, Lorenzo Bean here. Mod Megg posted a new video on the Club Penguin blog called “Meet Gary!”, along with a list of meetup times!

Hey everyone, Lorenzo Bean here. Lately, a lot of people (myself included), have had trouble logging into Club Penguin, so the team decided to extend both the Fair and the Rainbow Puffle Party to give players another chance to experience them!
The Fair (computers) will now end on June 10.
The Rainbow Puffle Party (Club Penguin app) will now end on June 17.
Good to know that the Club Penguin team is still looking out for the players like this. Have a nice day!
Hey everyone, Lorenzo Bean here. Some unfortunate news has been circulating around the community. It has apparently been confirmed that Club Penguin’s Stage will be closing on June 4th, and will be replaced by the Puffle Berry Mall. The Stage has occupied the middle spot in the Plaza for several years, opening in November 2007. Its popularity and usage has gone way down recently, so the Club Penguin team, deciding to continue adding puffle-themed rooms, will be replacing it with this new mall.
Guess what, guess what, GUESS WHAT! I’m super excited to announce that the Puffle Berry Mall is going to be coming back to the Plaza—permanently!
It’s a whole new (-ish) place where you can hang out and meet with your friends. It’ll go up where the Stage is, so we’ve created a new Stage igloo and furniture for members to design their very own performances!
We’ll have a special meet up and grand opening June 5 for everyone! What do you think of the Puffle Berry Mall coming back permanently?
Now is the time to stock up on all of the costumes from the Costume Trunk; no one knows when those items will return, or if they will ever be brought back in the first place!
What do you think? Are you excited for the new mall, or do you wish the Stage would stay open? Why not have both?

Hey everyone, Lorenzo Bean here. Yes, if you haven’t heard already, Club Penguin is having another Frozen Party already, and it starts on April 23rd. Megg posted this image on the Club Penguin Blog as a sneak peek for the party:
Members will be able to buy these… snowgies… from the special party catalog. Vanilla CP, we don’t have enough of it these days.
