150th Penguin Times Issue~
Well the Penguin Games started today and I gotta say, it’s quite disappointing and just plain okay. Good decorations, but glitchy programming it seems like. Here is how to get through the games and win a gold medal:
First you gotta click the medal at the top right corner of the screen for the list of events.
The first event is the marathon, at the ski village. What you have to do is stand on the starting line until the screen beside you says go after a 3 second countdown. Once it says go, you follow the track but stop at all the yellow lights:

Here’s the catch. This one is rather glitchy so the lights may not light up. So if you don’t get it for the first few tries, just give up and try again later lol. Hopefully CP will have fixed it by the time you try again. The second event is a 3 lap race at the iceberg. Again, stand on the start line until the countdown ends on a screen nearby. You run around the track and stop at the lights. This one actually works. Try stopping on the white lines:
The last event is a freestyle swim at the pool. Start on the start line until the countdown screen says go, then just run or “swim” to the other side of the pool until the light lights up, then go back and keep repeating until it says Winner and stuff.
Once you complete the events, click the medal on your screen again and claim your prize!
The ice rink is now a soccer stadium that only members can get into (you have to go there from the snow forts for it to be a soccer stadium):
The big upset about this is the free items, which are the red and blue face paint. Another item stolen from old penguins. There’s no new free item for them, so obviously they’re probably quite disappointed. Red face paint is at the coffee shop:

New Newspaper
The usual thursday newspaper came out, with a bunch of information. First of all, the Penguin Games are being prepared and will be held August 22-26. It sounds pretty fun, but it seems like they might bring back the striped headband, a quite rare item. All the ship blueprints have been returned to Rory, so the new ship igloo will be available as an upgrade on August 15 (tomorrow). Dunno what it will be like, but we will find out soon enough! Then just a bunch of stuff about sporty fashion.

The scavenger hunt for Rockhopper’s ship blueprints began today! It’s a paper boat scavenger hunt. Here are the locations of the paper boats we are hunting for:
The first boat is at the Mine Shack:
The second boat is at the Cove:
The third boat is in the Coffee Shop:
The fourth boat is tucked in between some rocks at the Beach:
The fifth boat floats by the windows in the Cave/Pool:
The sixth boat is in the Pet Shop:
The seventh boat is under the dock at the Dock lol:
The eighth and last boat is at the Iceberg:
Once you have all the paper boats, click build the blueprint and a puzzle will pop up. It is fairly simple to solve, and once you solve it, you get a blueprint background! Rockhopper also came back, with satisfying new items! Not a single old item brought back! Take a look:
Neato! Here are some tips on finding Rockhopper:
-Look in a variety in servers. Most people think he only goes to busy servers, but this is most certainly not true. He goes to any servers.
-He is most likely to be found on his ship, the iceberg, pizza parlor, or parading around club penguin island.
-Don’t be upset if you don’t find him, he will be here a while and will make many visits in the future.
In addition to all of this, the new play which is a sequel to the Blue Team thing is now showing at the stage:

Hey everyone. Bunch of updates today! First of all, the new record pin is on the speaker at the night club. Make the puffle flip by moving your mouse over it, and the pin will be revealed!
The August Clothing Catalog was released today with a bunch of new shoes, and of course, some old items they brought back

Rockhopper’s ship can be seen from the telescope at the Beacon. He is returning more quickly than he was before. Hope he brings some new items!
