Retiring From Armies

Yesterday, April 17, 2008, I retired from all Club Penguin armies. I joined Ice Warriors sometime in the beginning of November 2007, and fought, made new friends, created ideas, and had fun. I was told of Ice Warriors and their site and chat by Plumshake, one of my best friends. When I first joined Ice Warriors, they were thriving and full of warriors. I entered and immediately had ideas and climbed the ranks fast. I had gained Icey’s trust very quickly, and he soon sent me to spy on UMA (Underground Mafias Army). Within two weeks of joining Ice Warriors, I made a plan to form a huge alliance between the 3 biggest warrior teams in Club Penguin: Ice Warriors, Fire Warriors, and Dark Warriors. They were all prospering back then, and now they are either gone or have become weak (yes, including Ice Warriors). I told my plan to Iceyfeet1234 aka Icey, the leader of Ice Warriors, and he listened and followed through about a month later. On December 28, 2007, The Warriors Army (TWA) was formed between Ice Warriors, Fire Warriors, and Dark Warriors. It was confusing because they came together as one big army with one uniform, which wasn’t what I had intended to happen. (During this time, I began spying on TWA for UMA instead of spying on UMA for TWA) At first, everyone enjoyed it, as we won every single war because we were so big. In fact, too big. Too big and too confusing. But everyone was so excited with this new, massive army that they didn’t see anything bad about it. Only me and Ephris11, an incredible Ice Warrior who is now retired, knew there were downsides to TWA. As time went on, warriors began realizing that TWA wasn’t such a good idea after all. They were all still loyal to their leaders, but not TWA as a whole. This is when things started rifting. Warriors began to not trust each other, Wwe09, the leader of Fire Warriors, was becoming more and more unpopular every day. Yet, the leaders insisted on keeping TWA. More and more Ice Warriors started turning against TWA. “I think it’s getting annoying because there are a lot of weird and chaotic people in TWA.” said Knight290. “Icey should listen to us because this is important and he, as our leader needs to listen to his warriors.” said Hillman. Still, Icey did not withdraw Ice Warriors from TWA. Therefore, the event that triggered much conflict and hatred towards me occurred. On January 18, 2008, I began a strike in TWA which would soon become a rebellion. Lots of warriors agreed with me, and joined the strike which had three levels. Srivishnu aka Sriv, helped me a lot and is one of my best friends. As it turned out, the strike became a rebellion, which was named The Warrior Rebellion, or The Warrior Rebels (TWR). Some still supported TWA, and did not join the rebellion. Soon, the rebellion turned against Icey. That’s when it was found out that half the warriors in TWR were spies for Icey or Ambrosha aka Amb (leader of Dark Warriors). Things got really rough, and there were updates by the hour. Everyone was driven insane by all the chaos and mistrust. It was like the Cold War of Club Penguin. Finally, after about a month of the rebellion, I had driven Amb to his breaking point. He couldn’t take anymore of all of this, so we decided to team up and make our own reformed Ice Warriors, New Ice Warriors (NIW). Everyone received word of NIW, and almost everyone from TWA joined. Quite a few of them, though were still loyal to Icey and didn’t like the idea of making our own Ice Warriors without him. Icey came and gained everyone’s loyalty by smooth-talking them, and as quickly as NIW had began, it had ended. Icey agreed to withdraw Ice Warriors from TWA and soon made it official. But now he had other ideas. He wanted to fuse Ice Warriors (IW) and UMA to make Underground Warriors Army (UWA). Many troops from UMA strongly disagreed with the fusion, as they thought UMA was better off without IW, which was in fact true. It was held together for no longer than two weeks, with no wars fought or anything. UWA fell apart, and IW and UMA became their own.  After this, things slowed down completely. TWR was at a stopping point, with nothing to do since Ice Warriors (IW) was inactive. Icey had started. playing Runescape a while before, and now he was really into it. Nothing was updated for IW for about a month. Fire Warriors (FW) and Dark Warriors (DW) were falling apart as well. Everyone had joined other armies. During this time, which was quite recent (about the middle of March), I became closer to UMA. I had started going on their chat more, and was making friends there. For a while, I forgot all about IW. Then, only about a few weeks before now, Icey came back once again and made IW active again. He put Sriv in charge of the site, and he gave it a makeover and scheduled some wars and recruitment days. These turned out successful, and IW had returned to Club Penguin warfare. I was dragged back into IW, though I was reluctant because everyone had strong feelings against me because of TWR. Then, on March 29, there was a huge meeting in which Nachos, IW, Golds, and UMA formed an alliance to invade FGR to take over Canada servers. During this time, I made a bunch of war strategies for IW to use. I introduced them to Icey, who at first seemed to accept them. We used a couple of them in wars, and they proved to be very effective. They were like nuclear weapons in Club Penguin warfare. In the training session, Icey was not paying attention despite the fact that it was most important he learn how to lead the strategies. It was clear he really did not want the strategies. He had put them on the IW site and password protected it. In response to this, I took the plans to UMA, where it was much more appreciated. Things heated up between me and Icey, and then he changed the password to the page that had the strategies in it. This made me very mad because those strategies were copyrighted and I could choose who would use them and who wouldn’t. The next meeting for the alliance happened shortly afterwards, and it became clear Shadow2446, Nacho Ambassador, was not very fond of Icey. During the meeting, Icey recited all of IW’s servers, which most of them turned out to belong to other armies. Shadow made Icey cut out half of IW’s land. Shadow also did not act very kindly to Icey. It was also decided that this invasion would be Club Penguin World War 4, which almost happened about two months earlier. I told Abercrombe29, leader of UMA about my plan, and she took to it quickly along with other high ranks in UMA. After about a week though, it did not seem as though my plan would be executed. Therefore, I decided to retire from all Club Penguin armies. I had seen and done enough. It is entirely my fault TWA existed, and I realized how defective it was, and I ended up rebelling against my own creation. The rebellion caused much tension and hatred, which made me feel as if I was more of an outcast than a warrior. To make matters worse, no one would listen to me because of what I had done, even if the ideas I made were great. I have seen a big chapter in IW and UMA, and I had seen it much differently than anyone else. That is pretty much why I am retiring. There is no point being in an army if no one will listen to you. I do not blame Plumshake for bringing me into this mess, as it was entirely my decision to join IW. As for what few friends I have left from this whole thing, I thank you all very much for sticking it out with me. You all have shown support, never gave up on me, and made my time in Club Penguin armies better, no matter how bad the situations were. These people are:

  • Plumshake
  • Srivishnu
  • Ambrosha
  • Dream Golds
  • Nicole6754

As for everyone else, any tensions between us can now end, as I am retiring. I am also dealing with a very devastating ordeal in real life right now, as some of you know, and that is also a factor. I wish all armies good luck, and I will miss fighting for them. I will still have friends within the armies, but it won’t be the same as fighting alongside them. Good luck and farewell everyone!

About Lorenzo Bean

Hi! My penguin name is Lorenzo Bean. Right now, my penguin is over 1 year old. The oldest item I have is the red bandana (the first time it came) from Rockhopper. The oldest pin I have is the open fire pin. If you want to be my buddy, don't just ask right away. We have to talk and get acquainted first. 100 buddies isn't a lot and I don't like to waste them! The servers I usually go on are Mammoth, Antarctic, and Alpine but I go on servers that my buddies are on a lot too. My favorite games in Club Penguin are Cart Surfer, Bean Counters, and Hydro-Hopper (but I still call it Biscuit). I have met Rockhopper over 10 times now (at least once every time he comes). Lastly, I do NOT hack nor will I put any hacks on this site! Hacking is bad and takes the fun out of the game. Plus, most likely you will get banned. I actually have been banned forever, but was unbanned because the swears said on my penguin weren't from my computer. The whole thing is long and complicated, so I won't go into it too much. Enjoy the site!
